The 20's are roarring in 2013

There are clothes that wear the person....i believe in these clothes, they have personality.
They change you and they are capable to create a different character everytime you wear them.
They inspire you and they have the power to make you look different everytime you put them on.
Therefore this dress wore me last night in the twenties way.
I found it in Paris at a vintage fair...i believe it's a piece of art, it's 100% silk & hand-made sequin embroidery so i waited for the right moment to wear it...it was hard but i had a lot of pacience...in the end The 20's New Year Party was the "lucky winner".

I am guilty for the twenties inspired make-up and Мишгач Олександр (Mishwu) is guilty for the fabulous 20's hairstyle.

Happy New Year with Sweet Paprika darlings,
Kisses,
Gabriela

Burgundy child

Here is ...another post dedicated to my Burgundy Obsession.
With this ocassion i decided to share with you a very beautiful poem about this colour.

Burgundy

burgundy, the color of wine
and cashmere
a noble stain, sweet and dark
like old music, enchanting yet haunting
or pages in a history book
deep purplish red, like old France
when the Louie's were Kings
with deep capes of ermine and
coats of serious, glorious, burgundy
like time passing
things ripening with age
roughness becoming soft
and smooth, burgundy
like old memories
sweet and cherished, a bitter fragrance
all its own
a rich man's bedsheets, made of silk
dark and comforting, or
a noblewoman's rogue, daring
and the color on her lips, emphasizing white teeth
burgundy
a tall chair by the fire
an honored usage, glowing in the light

The place where the sun kisses the sea

I don't know if i've ever told you how much...i love THE SEA and i don't do this only during my summer holidays...it's a constant "never-ending" feeling. I'm telling you! when i'm angry ...sad and depressed or feeling alone and forgotten the sea is the only pill i take, my escape, my endless source of happiness and inspiration.
Actually i must confess that all the pieces from my first collection were designed on the beach after a break-up, with a frappe and lots of cigarettes and hours of sun healing while listening on repeat: The Verve - BitterSweet Symphony:))
So here is another day in my little paradise. The beach ...the car.... the jeans, the warm comfy woolen poncho the boots and a lot of sea shells...my perfect BitterSweet symphony.

Gabriela

Shine !

"Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun. "
John Lennon
This story is about that amount of gold GOLD that lives in every human being...that gold that makes you shine , sparkle and glow in the darkness.
Actually ... the average person's body weighing 70 kilograms would contain a total mass of 0.2 milligrams of gold but ...the truth is that sometimes you hunger for a bigger dose and you put on all the golden stuff you find in your wardrobe
As you can see this time i had a GOLDEN CRISIS ...meanwhile Raluca the adorable tutliputli girl was painting her day in white DOTS.
Everything happened while we were flying above Bucharest on our rusty crane.

...Take That : SHINE!
So come on, come on, get it on
Don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late,
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
